Apparently this is the trendy new-age essay. This is my trendy online homework. Everything that I’m inspired by (see/hear/touch/taste/smell) goes here. So far Chelsea Art Foundation has taught me that there are no rules.*
*except that tutor in Fine Art who banned me from using pens (?)
** also, we’re not allowed to do tonal drawings or detail
Fashion & Textiles taught me that I am not going to be the next Alexander McQueen after all. Gutted. I can’t sew paper together very well. I was better at photographing my little paper structures in a way that made them look cool when really they’re terrible. I should go into Politics.

Fine Art is tiring and A-levels have prepared us all wrong for this course. There’s very little annotation and a whole lot of drawing objects as loosely as possible which is difficult BECAUSE I WANT TO DO A TONAL DRAWING. IN PEN. IN DETAIL. But it’s good to try new things. It’s only been one day & I’m waiting to paint nudes and animate nudes and basically I’m waiting for the tutors to put us in a room of nudes. Where are the nudes?
There is a really trippy maze at the Tate Britain which is basically tiny rooms and lots of doors and if you are claustrophobic or have an aversion to doorknobs, it isn’t for you. I got lost a lot. This may or may not have inspired me to make some kind of maze.
