ANIMATION // FILM // ILLUSTRATION // DESIGN
It’s over. The god-awful final major project is over. Towards the end I genuinely did not sleep for 3 days in a row. that is 72 hours being awake, animating and barely eating or washing. that is disgusting dedication. handed in the film with like an eye twitching and my arms just having a little spasm. BUT IT’S OVER. It is probably/definitely the best piece of animated work I have done so far. It definitely drained me the most. It definitely required the most effort I’ve ever put into an animation; including: planning, interviewing, recording, editing, storyboarding, hand-drawing frames, digitally drawing frames (over 8,000), re-editing, rendering, crashing, crashing, crashing, crashing, computer exploding, crying, crashing, re-rendering, crashing, moving to college computer, rendering, cutting, compiling, exporting, converting, uploading, done.Plus all that sketchbook development bullshit. I’m gonna upload a couple of screenshots and/or storyboards while I wait for it to upload to youtube. Chelsea art foundation exhibition is 15th april. I think there will be wine.
Next year I’ll be doing BA graphics at Central St. Martins but until then 6 MONTHS OF FREE TIME AND BASICALLY ARSING AROUND**no. I have to get work experience/ a job. teach myself after effects. do another film. sleep for a week. hook up a bottle of vodka to my veins etc.
